A Great Combination

Metal is my favorite kind of music. I really enjoy coming home after work and listening to my best-liked bands. Another thing I really love is eating. Sincerely, I hate cooking, but I find a lot of pleasure when eating.

There is a saying that I always follow: "Wherever you go, do as you see others do." When I travel, I find out what the specialties of the place are, and I taste them.

That is the reason why I want to show you this video in which all these aspects are together: good metal + good food + traveling. As Matt Heafy, Trivium's leader and guitarist, says on his blog (http://matthewkiichiheafy.tumblr.com/): "My life philosophy is that I don't eat to live... I live to eat." Fortunately, I belong to that group. I live to eat!

Bon appetit!

Congratulations on this new adventure! For me eating is more than a necessity, a pleasure, so I also live to eat (and drink). The difference is that I do love cooking.

We didn't visit Gothenburg when we went to Sweden. I have another reason to go. The restaurant and the food look fantastic!!

I'm glad to read you!

Thank you very much Clara!
It’s a great pleasure to have you as a reader of my blog.

I hope you will visit Sweden again soon, and will be able to enjoy this restaurant.

Kisses!

Congratulations Pablo, I hope you'll enjoy blogging as much as I do.

The combination you point out in this post (particularly, heavy metal + good food) looks pretty unexplored.. Theory says heavy metal gets along with a filthy sandwich! (and I'm saying this as an old heavy metal fan)

Thank you very much Victor! I really hope so, too!

Hahahaha you’re totally right! The usual match is metal, a fatty-high-calorie sandwich or hamburger and lots of alcohol and drugs. However, there’s a new generation of rockers who don’t need to be headbanging with a lion-style mane. Even though, most of them keep having their hair long. As you know, nowadays, selling albums is not the best income a band has. They need to be almost permanently on tour, so they travel much more than in the past, and while on tour, they try to enjoy the gastronomy, sightseeing and amenities that every place offers, (destroying hotel rooms is not on fashion anymore! XD). I’ll show you other examples in my next post. ;)
